About Serhat
Serhat maintains a diverse real estate practice with a focus on real estate lending transactions. He has represented single lenders and lender groups in connection with mortgage and mezzanine loans, construction loans, secured and unsecured borrowing base lending, note participations, loan purchases, workouts, discounted pay-offs, deed-in-lieu transactions and property/UCC foreclosures in a broad range of asset classes including office buildings, retail centers, hotels, casinos, warehouses, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, multi-family residential assets and mixed-use projects. Serhat also has experience in lending transactions in the Caribbean. His practice also includes representation of borrowers and representation of developers and equity investors in preferred equity investments, joint ventures, developments, and sales and acquisitions.
