About Paul
Paul practices in the areas of corporate finance, business, and real estate law, and has extensive experience in problem loan resolution and debt restructuring on both a national and regional level. He concentrates on representing lenders in financing transactions and regularly handles a wide range of lending transactions for institutional clients. Paul has represented the agent and letter of credit issuer in multi-lender project finance, bond finance, retail finance, and real estate transactions on both a regional and national basis.
- Representation of the agent and bondholders in a $1.25 billion dollar multi-lender loan comprised of direct purchase bonds and conventional financing for the construction of three residential towers on the west side of midtown Manhattan
- Representation of the agent in a $435 million dollar multi-lender loan for the construction of a mixed use office and retail project with a national tenant in the Seaport District of Boston
- Representation of the agent in a $222 million dollar loan involving the construction of a multi-phase office, residential, and retail shopping mall project in the Boston area
- Representation of the agent and bondholders in a $150 million dollar multi-lender loan comprised of direct purchase bonds and conventional financing for the construction of a mixed-use office and residential project in Boston
- Representation of the agent in a $105 million dollar loan involving the construction of a mixed use hotel, office, retail, and residential project in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Representation of the agent and lenders in a $295 million dollar multi-lender loan involving the restructuring and refinancing of senior and mezzanine loan facilities and letter of credit bond facility involving a retail center and parking garage in Manhattan
- Representation of the lender in a $45 million dollar loan involving the acquisition and renovation of a multi-property office campus in Bellevue, Washington
- Representation of the agent and issuer of a $125 million dollar letter of credit and conventional loan facility in connection with the issuance of taxable and tax exempt series Housing Revenue Bonds by the New York State Housing Finance Agency for the construction of a mixed use residential rental and retail facility in New York City
