About David
David’s practice focuses on real estate finance, representing private capital providers, debt funds, national banks, and other financial institutions in the origination, workout, and restructuring of complex, secured and unsecured real estate loans. His experience covers a wide range of asset classes, including office, retail, hospitality, multifamily, industrial, mixed-use, datacenter and other commercial properties, as well as secured and unsecured lines of credit for real estate investment trusts (REITs), regional and national homebuilders and real estate funds. He also has significant experience working with mezzanine and other forms of subordinated financing.
Prior to law school, David worked at Big 4 accounting firm Ernst & Young, during which time he obtained his CPA license. David currently serves on the board of the Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Association, Los Angeles Chapter.
